Does anybody know a good Wholesale Pet Supply Company that does free drop shipping?

Question: Does anybody know a good Wholesale Pet Supply Company that does free drop shipping?
I own a pet store in Arkansas and need to get involved with a company that does free drop shipping to my customers. Regular shipping is perfectly fine. I just need one that does not charge me a fee every month, or add any drop shipping fees to orders. I rarely need drop shipping, but when I do, it’s very handy, that’s why I need it to be free so I don’t pay for something I’m not using every month.

Anyone who can give me feedback on “Top Dawg Pet Supply” would be greatly appreciated. It sounds good, but it charges $ 10/month after three free months. Is it worth it to a small pet store that makes 0-1 sales per month that need to be drop shipped?

Thanks so much.

Have you considered opening a online shop that way you can utilize a dropshipper and make the fee worth your while, plus earn extra money with selling more product?

What is involved in running an online pet supply retail business?

Question: What is involved in running an online pet supply retail business?
I’ve run across several sites about starting and running an online pet supply “store”. I’m in college and unable to work a normal job due to circumstances, but I need income and I’ve always been interested in pet supply retail. How complicated do you think it would be? Any pointers?

Running an online store is not as easy as many sites make it sound. You will need to know or learn a good deal about how to market the business to get customers.

For the best chance at success, specialize in a product that pet owners want but isn’t already being sold by the big online stores. Alternatively, you can sell readily available products, but offer an additional service that the big retailers don’t offer.

Do a lot of research before you start to determine what to sell, how to sell it, and how to outsell the competition.
