Question: Does your dog have a “People Food” he thinks is for him?
Ok so we’re in California and on my dogs birthday we took him to In & Out and got him a cheeseburger. Obviously he loved it but now we can’t go to In & Out without getting him one. Any other drive thrus he barks and growls at the speaker and the people at the window but at In & Out he just wags his tail and gets all excited. If we go thru without getting him one he gives us this look (he’s a boxer so u know how that goes) that is like he is so depressed.
Do any of your pets have a certain people food that they love and have to have?
Harley LOVES popcorn too! It’s actually what I ended up using to train him most of the time cuz he will do just about anything for some popcorn!
OH and Grapefruit! the second my hubby breaks open the peel on a grapefruit our dog is at his side with this look like “Uhhhh ur gonna share that riiiiight?”

Yes my Husky, loves loves loves tuna. if he smells tuna there is no way your getting through the day without giving him some.

ok, so i was on a chatting website and all i said was i know someone who owns a pet store, i never said they sold dogs or anything because the don’t and all of a sudden i got like 500 people saying “EW they sell puppy mill puppies” and “pet stores are disgusting!” and the same thing over and over! (while i agree that most are horrendous i think there are some good pet stores out there!) i told them they don’t sell any animals but they didn’t even bother to read what i was saying, as soon as they saw pet store they all pounced on me like i was a plague! so why do people assume that a “pet store” sells animals? especially if they know nothing about it I.E. its name or location!?

The “pet store” imagine has been damaged completely by those that DO sell the puppy mill dogs (and deny it too). Hard to overcome a bad image.

If you stick to only giving meat, you don’t have to worry about what is bad. Make sure it doesn’t have any sauces or spices. Some are fine, some are bad. But as I said, it’s easier if you keep it simple. There are some things that are particularly bad, but they are avoided if you just stick to plain meat.

we are told to list our source of information when we give our answers and my source is that “my mom owns a pet store” and therefore i am knowledgeable in the dogs category, so i don’t understand why people will thumbs down me even when i am giving good advice! someone asked “my dog ate a blanket, and now its throwing up and wont eat what could be wrong?” so i answered take it to a vet because it could have a blockage and it could die if not treated and i listed my source as my mom owns a pet store. i knew this answer because we tell people not to let there dogs chew on anything they shouldn’t but i still got like 3 thumbs down! then there was a question of “where can i get my dogs ear’s cropped?” i said “you really shouldn’t because the ears bleed allot, like a head wound does on people and if they can’t stop the bleeding in time, the dog could die from blood loss. also they can get easily infected so its not a good idea. but if your going to get them done anyway, get them done by your vet” i know for SH IT sure that was a good answer because i asked the vet that comes to the store where they should be done and that’s what he told me and i STILL got 6 thumbs down!! i don’t understand why people don’t take the time to read the actual answer or even if they do read it, they get to my source and put a thumbs down… i know my answer is a good one and gives helpful information and i’m sure they know it too, but they get to that and they say “oh well thumbs down for you!” why can’t they base there vote on whether or not the information given was helpful and pertaining to the question rather than them not liking my source!?
